The Transportation Agency for Monterey County is always working to improve access and safety for bicyclists and pedestrians in Monterey County. The Agency supports bicycle and pedestrian transportation with its Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee, the Monterey County Bike Plan, and the 2% Transportation Development Act (TDA) grant funding. The Committee meets monthly to provide input to Monterey County decision-makers regarding pedestrian and bicycle transportation infrastructure, safety and maintenance.
