Golden Helmet Award Nomination

The Transportation Agency for Monterey County is soliciting nominations for the Golden Helmet Award, in recognition of the 2011 Monterey County Bike Week. A local bicyclist will be recognized for his/her dedication for using bicycle for daily trips. The award also aims to highlight the benefits of bicycle commuting and inspire others to utilize alternative transportation modes. The winner will be awarded a certificate at the April 27th Board of Directors meeting and a gift certificate to a local bike shop of choice.

Nominations must be received by noon on Friday, April 1, 2011.
