Company bike challenge
Are you ready to win some great prizes? Sign up for the Monterey County Company Bike Challenge today. Gather your friends and colleagues to form teams and compete to commute by bike as often as possible throughout May.

How it works:

  • Form a team at your company. A team captain signs up for their team at www.commutealternatives.info and chooses their company from a pull down menu.
  • If your company is not on the participating list, please call Commute Alternatives at (831) 883-3750, or email info@commutealternatives.info to be added.
  • Ride your bike and have fun! Then team members record their trips on the commute calendar at www.commutealternatives.info.

At the end of the month, the teams with the highest number of miles ridden win. Prizes will be given in each of the following company categories:

  • Small Business (1-50 local employees)
  • Medium Company (50-300 local employees)
  • Large Corporation (300+ local employees)

Prizes

  • Three organizations will be presented with Bicycle Friendly Employer of the Year Award. The winning companies will get recognized on the Monterey NPR station (KAZU FM 90.3).
  • All participating team members will be entered into a raffle for prizes, including Pebble Beach Golf Package, bicycle accessories, messenger bag and more.
