Transportation Agency for Monterey County

Board & Committees

The Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) is a twenty-three member agency which consists of local officials from each of its twelve incorporated cities and five county supervisorial districts, and ex-officio members from six public agencies. In addition to the Board of Directors, the Transportation Agency receives feedback and direction from several committees comprised of member agency staff and elected officials.

Board of Directors

A twenty-three member Board that consists of local officials from each of its twelve incorporated cities and five county supervisorial districts, and ex-officio members from six public agencies.

Executive Committee

A policy committee that advises the Transportation Agency for Monterey County on critical policy and agency administrative issues.

Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee

Comprised of volunteer representatives from each supervisorial district and city in Monterey County as well as representatives from public agencies and a bicycle/pedestrian interest group.

Rail Policy Committee

Advises the Transportation Agency for Monterey County Board on matters related to the reestablishment of passenger rail service in Monterey County.

Technical Advisory Committee

Provides technical assistance, advice, and recommendations to the Transportation Agency.
