The Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee is comprised of volunteer representatives from each supervisorial district and city in Monterey County as well as representatives from public agencies and a bicycle/pedestrian interest group, as appointed by the TAMC Board of Directors.

The Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) is always working to improve access and safety for bicyclists and pedestrians in Monterey County. The Agency supports bicycle and pedestrian transportation with its Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee, the Monterey County Bike Plan, and the 2% Transportation Development Act (TDA) grant funding.

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities Advisory Committee meets monthly to provide input to Monterey County decision-makers regarding pedestrian and bicycle transportation infrastructure, safety and maintenance

Virginia Murillo is the Transportation Agency for Monterey County’s current Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator. If you have any questions, you can reach her at (831) 775-0903, or via email at: virginia@tamcmonterey.org
