TAMC CONE ZONE REPORT                                  

ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 8 – APRIL 14

 

MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, April 8 through Saturday, April 14 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 Storm Repair Along the Big Sur Coast
Due to past slides, State Route 1 is now closed at the Ranger Station North Ragged Point Inn and at Mud Creek.

Highway 1 – Big Sur: April 9 – April 13
Daytime work along Highway 1 in Big Sur at two locations next week. Details are as follows:

  • Bridge work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge.
  • Crack and seal work between Bixby Creek Bridge from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Highway 1 – Monterey and Seaside: April 10 and April 13
Daytime guardrail repair along Highway 1 at two locations next week. Details are as follows:

  • Tuesday, April 10: Southbound #2 (right) lane closure at Munras Ave. in Monterey.
  • Friday, April 13: Southbound #1 (left) lane closure at Highway 218 in Seaside.

Highway 68 – Monterey: April 9 – April 13
Daytime bridge work will result in the closure of the westbound Highway 68 ramp to Northbound Highway 1 from 9 a.m.  to 3 p.m.

Highway 68 – Salinas River Bridge: April 9 – April 13

Daytime bridge work along Highway 68 between Spreckels Boulevard and Reservation Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Highway 101 – Greenfield: April 9 – April 13
Daytime shoulder work along southbound & northbound Highway 101 from Harden Farms Road to Oak Avenue in Greenfield will occur from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Highway 101 – Salinas to San Benito County: April 9 – April 13
Daytime vegetation spraying along Highway 101 between Airport Boulevard and the San Benito County Line from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
