MONTEREY COUNTY – The Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) announced the launch of the Transportation Agency’s “Measure X Newsletter” and a “Keep Monterey County Moving” television program.
Subscribers to the electronic “Measure X” newsletter will be able to find out the latest on pothole and road repairs happening in their neighborhoods, updates on safety projects and even weigh in to determine where money should be spent first on Measure X projects. Scribing to the quarterly newsletter is the way to be “in the know” about when smoother, safer roads are coming to where you live, work, shop or go to school. Anyone interested in subscribing to the Measure X newsletter can sign up through the Transportation Agency’s website at www.tamcmonterey.org.
The Transportation Agency announced that they have also launched a “Keep Monterey County Moving” television program. This monthly program focuses on transportation issues that affect everyday life in Monterey County. Hosted by Theresa Wright, formerly of KSBW-TV’s “Feedback@5”, the program can be viewed on Access Monterey Channel 27 or on the TAMC website and YouTube channel.
“We are pleased to offer both of these platforms to inform the public about what we are doing. This is part of our accountability and transparency commitment with voters, who entrusted us with their vote of support; and to ensure that we do everything we can to make improvements that enhance the quality of our roadways and network of transportation systems in Monterey County,” said Debbie Hale, the Executive Director of the Transportation Agency.
