TAMC CONE ZONE REPORT                                  

ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR DEC. 2 – DEC. 8

 

MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, December 2 through Saturday, December 8 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1 Big Sur South Coast: December 3 – December 7
Daytime drainage cleaning along Highway 1 will result in traffic control between the San Luis Obispo County Line and Lime Creek Bridge form 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Highway 1 Big Sur: December 3
Daytime bridge work along Highway 1 at Rocky Creek Bridge will result in traffic control form 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Highway 1 Monterey: December 3 – December 7
Daytime gore paving and ramp closure at the southbound Highway 1 off-ramp to Del Monte Boulevard in Monterey from 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Highway 68 –  Corral De Tierra to Laureles Grade: December 2 – December 7
Night time utility work along Highway 68 between Corral De Tierra and Laureles Grade will result in one way reversing traffic control and delays from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Highway 68 – Salinas River: December 3 – December 7

There will be alternating lane closures on eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Spreckles Blvd and Reservation Road for bridge work. The work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Highway 101 – Prunedale: December 3
Daytime guardrail repair will result in the temporary closure of the southbound Highway 101 on-ramp at San Miguel Canyon Road from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Highway 101 – Prunedale: December 6
Daytime guardrail repair along northbound Highway 101 at Reese Circle from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Highway 218/Canyon Del Rey Boulevard: December 3 – December 7
Daytime utility work along Canyon Del Rey will result in traffic control between Harcourt Avenue and Hilby Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Highway 156 – Castroville: December 2 – December 7
A project to resurface the pavement and replace concrete slabs on State Route 156 from the Separation with State Route 1 to the Separation with State Route 183 in Castroville is now underway.

Motorists will encounter lane closures on westbound State Route 156 Monday through Thursday during the overnight hours as needed from 7 pm until 6 am and from 8 pm until 6 am on Sundays.

Motorists will encounter lane closures on eastbound State Route 156 Monday through Thursday during the overnight hours from 7 pm until 5 am and from 8 pm until 5 am on Sundays.
