TAMC CONE ZONE REPORT

ROAD AND LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR February 16 –  February 22

MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, February 16 through Saturday, February 22 – newest information is in red. Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.

Highway 1: San Luis Obispo County Line – Lime Creek Bridge: February 18 – February 21
One-way traffic controls will be in place along northbound and southbound Highway 1 from the San Luis Obispo County Line to Lime Creek Bridge for paving work from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Highway 1: Big Creek Bridge: February 18 – February 21
One-way traffic controls will be in place along northbound and southbound Highway 1 at Big Creek Bridge for bridge work at various times during the week. The schedule is 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday and 12 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Crews will not be working on President’s Day, Monday, February 17.

Highway 1: Spindrift Road (North): February 22
One-way traffic controls will be in place along northbound Highway 1 at Spindrift Road for tree removal  work from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Delays are not expected to exceed 10 minutes.

Highway 68: Piedmont Avenue – State Route 1 (Pacific Grove to Monterey):  Feb. 17 – 21
One-way traffic controls will be in place along eastbound and westbound Highway 68 between Piedmont Avenue and State Route 1 for shoulder work along the highway from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Highway 101: Alta Street/Old Stage Road – Little Bear Creek Bridge, Salinas: Feb. 18 – 21
Nighttime lane closures (including median and shoulders) will occur along northbound and southbound Highway 101, between  Alta Street/Old Stage Road and Little Bear Creek Bridge                  in Salinas for paving work on the roadway and ramps from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.   Crews will be working in the evenings Sunday – Thursday.

Highway 101: Northbound East Garrison – San Ardo: February 18
One moving lane closure will occur along northbound Highway 101 between East Garrison and San Ardo for vegetation spraying from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Highway 101: San Ardo – Airport Boulevard: February 19 – 21
One moving lane closure will occur along northbound & southbound Highway 101 between San Ardo and Airport Boulevard for vegetation spraying from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Highway 101: Southbound East Garrison – San Ardo: February 20
One moving lane closure will occur along southbound Highway 101 between East Garrison and San Ardo for vegetation spraying from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Highway 101: Wild Horse – First Street, King City: Now – March 2020
One long-term lane closure will occur along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Wild Horse Road and First Street for roadway excavation work from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Highway 101: Lockwood/San Lucas – Paris Valley Road: Long-Term Closure
One long-term lane closure will occur along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Lockwood/San Lucas Road and Paris Valley Road for K-rail and excavation work.

Highway 101: Southbound East Garrison: February 21
The off ramp on southbound Highway 101 at southbound East Garrison will be closed for electrical work from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Highway 101: Monterey Road – East Garrison, San Luis Obispo County: Now – March 2020
One long-term alternating lane closure will occur along northbound and southbound Highway 101 in  San Luis Obispo County between Monterey Road and East Garrison for miscellaneous road work from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
