The Transportation Agency partnered with the Stanford Cartography Society to develop an interactive web map to portray reported collision history in Monterey County. The Agency hopes this tool can help spread awareness about collision hot-spots in Monterey County, as the Agency works towards the goal of reducing severe injury and fatal collisions to zero.
The web map currently showcases data collected through the Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS) from 2013-2018.
If you have any questions about the Collision Data Web Map, please contact Aaron Hernandez, Assistant Transportation Planner, at 831-775-4412 or aaron@tamcmonterey.org.
