Notice of Availability for Public Comment

The 2022 Monterey County Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) serves as a 22-year road map for meeting the long-term transportation needs of Monterey County. The plan establishes goals and policy objectives for meeting needs and evaluating projects, a fund estimate identifying transportation revenues expected over the life of the plan, and a list of projects to be funded within the constraints of forecasted revenues. The plan serves as the first step in acquiring federal and state funding for transportation projects.

The Draft 2022 Monterey County Regional Transportation Plan was released for public comment on December 1, 2021. Comments on this document should be submitted in writing at the earliest possible date, but no later than January 31, 2022.
