Partial Imjin Parkway Nighttime Closures  for Construction Work: March 18 - April 2, 2024

Beginning the night of March 18 and continuing through April 2, Imjin Parkway will be closed from the intersection of Imjin Road to the intersection with Reservation Road for night work operations between the hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday for 2 weeks. No night work (or night closures) will be performed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings.

Detour signs will be in place to guide traffic onto alternate routes and Abrams Drive at Imjin Parkway will remain open for local access at all times. This closure is needed to allow pavement striping and placement of traffic safety control barriers to shift traffic from the current configuration to the eastbound side of the roadway. This shift will provide a safe work zone for workers and the traveling public during construction of the westbound portion of the project.

In addition, it’s anticipated that by 3/20, a signed alternate route for Blanco Road “westbound” (toward Monterey) traffic approaching Reservation Road will be posted. This alternate route will begin at the signal with Research Drive through the UC-MBEST property (between Blanco Road and Imjin Parkway) using Research Drive and University.
