“SUPERVISOR PHILLIPS’ HOSTS TOWN HALL MEETING WITH CALTRANS AND THE TRANSPORTATION AGENCY FOR MONTEREY COUNTY”

MONTEREY COUNTY – Monterey County Supervisor, John Phillips, will host a Town Hall Meeting with Caltrans and the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) to get public comments on the “State Route 183 Castroville Improvement Project.”

The virtual Town Hall Meeting is on Wednesday, August 26, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Supervisor and transportation agencies are looking for public input on Caltrans’ proposal to make improvements along the route which serves as the Main Street of Castroville. The proposal seeks to make improvements to the roadway, and safety improvements for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit.

The access code to participate is: 146 391 3402. Spanish language translation will be provided at the meeting for anyone needing the service.
