“TAMC Announces the Third Winner of the “Go831 Smart Commute to the Moon Challenge ” Random  Drawing

The Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC), in partnership with Blue Zones Project Monterey County, and the City of Salinas announced that Keith Severson is the winner of the third $50 random drawing of the “Go831 Smart Commute to the Moon Challenge.”

Mr. Severson, a telecommuter employed at Granite Rock, is one of several participants competing             to win over $5,000 in weekly, individual, team and employer prizes during the October challenge. Winners of the overall challenge categories for prizes worth over $5,000 will be announced in November. Go831 is a countywide travel demand management program sponsored by the Transportation Agency for Monterey County aimed at reducing traffic and improving air quality and health by encouraging smart commuting instead of driving solo. The program is offered for free to employers and commuters in Monterey County.
