'TELEWORK ANYWHERE' INSTAGRAM CHALLENGE

MONTEREY COUNTY – Did you miss your opportunity to win a prize in the October Commute Challenge? Well, your next opportunity is here with the first Go831 “Telework Anywhere” Instagram Challenge hosted by the Transportation Agency of Monterey County, November 16 - December 16, 2020.

Many of us were new to teleworking when COVID-19 hit and had a steep learning curve. This challenge is a chance to celebrate the good, the bad and the hilarious moments we’ve all had teleworking in 2020. Join us by sharing photos of your telework “wins” and “fails” from 2020 and have a chance to win one of three $100 gift cards to a local store or restaurant of your choice: just in time for the holidays!

The “Telework Anywhere” Instagram Challenge is open to anyone 18 years and older who either lives or works in Monterey County. Participants can share their photos on the Go831 Instagram page at https://www.instagram.com/go_831/ with the hashtag #teleworkanywhere. Let’s learn from one another and laugh together and end 2020 on a high-note!

Go831 is a countywide travel demand management program sponsored by the Transportation Agency for Monterey County aimed at reducing traffic and improving air quality and health by encouraging smart commuting instead of driving solo. The program is offered for free to employers and commuters in Monterey County. It provides resources and assistance for employers and commuters interested in establishing or enhancing a smart commute program for themselves, their business or school.
