Debbie Hale has worked in California in the field of regional transportation planning, financing and project delivery over the last 28 years. She has been at TAMC since 2001, where her focus is on planning, funding and delivering regional transportation improvements for Monterey County and its twelve cities. Debbie and her staff team oversee the Measure X local transportation program, whose goal is to make it safer and easier to get around Monterey County. Her 17-member Board of Directors, composed of mayors or city councilmembers from each of the 12 cities and all five county supervisors, sets goals and makes policy decisions.
A public policy graduate of UC Berkeley and Princeton University, Debbie specializes in project delivery, grant funding, public involvement, and collaborative decision-making.
